| Simon hails from the U.K and met his
future wife during his time as a student in France. Working in the textile
industry took them from Paris to the USA for a few years before landing them
in deepest rural France. A love of wine and the attraction of French
rural life led them to take the plunge in 1990 and re-establish the
Domaine's activity which had completely ceased in 1965. Perhaps Simon had
vague memories of the BBC series "The Good Life". This was before a certain
Peter Mayle let on to the rest of the world about the pleasures of French
country life. L
